Margaret Pratt Robison

Goodwin Funeral Home

Margaret Pratt Robison, born July 1, 1930 in Rockville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, surrounded by family.  She was the daughter of Gertrude and Orval C. Pratt and the sister of Donald Pratt, who preceded her in death.

Margaret graduated from Rockville High School in 1948 and earned her degree from DePauw University in 1952, where she was proud member of the Tri Delta Women’s Fraternity.

On November 30, 1953, she married the love of her life, James Thomas (Tom) Robison (1918-2003) to whom she was wed for fifty years.  Together they built a beautiful life and raised two daughters: Jane Robison of Indianapolis (married to Dan Bradburn) and Kathleen Weiss of San Antonio (Married to Michael Weiss).  Margaret was a devoted grandmother to Eric Weiss of Austin (Married to Lauren) and Meg Weiss of Dallas, and cherished the joy of knowing her great granddaughter, Parker Weiss.  She is also survived by her nephew, John Pratt of Rockville (wife Elise and son Wesley), with whom she shared a close bond.

In Frankfort, Margaret enjoyed being involved in the community and local clubs, including The Aftermath Club, The Literary Club, and the Tri Kappa Service Sorority.  She was a faithful member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Frankfort since 1953.

Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, infectious laughter, and generous spirit.  She had a gift of making others feel at home – whether through her hosting, home cooking, or simply her welcoming presence.  A sharp card player and devoted gardener, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life.  Her love for sports added a spirited energy to family gathering, and her deep, unwavering love for her family was evident in everything she did.  Margaret leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and grace – touching the lives of all who knew her.

The family extends deep gratitude to her church family, the Visiting Angels staff as well as Patti, Linda and Gary, who loving cared for Margaret.  The family is also very grateful to the staff of IU Health Frankfort Hospital for their commitment and care to her.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.
