Marian Combs Miller, 100, of Lafayette, passed away at her home, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born in Clinton County, Indiana to Cleveland B. and Bertha Faye (Kenney) Combs.
Marian graduated from Mulberry High School then received her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy degrees from Purdue University. She retired in 2004, at the age of 82, from Wabash Valley Mental Hospital in West Lafayette. Marian was a pharmacist and taught math and science classes at different schools in the area. She had been a member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Surviving Marian is her daughter, Michon L. Baldauf of Kokomo, and her son Charles Robert Emery of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Ann Staley; brother, John Combs; and sisters, Jane Frances Combs McLaughlin and Phyllis Huffer.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in the Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry. Memorial donations, in Marian’s honor, may be made to the ASPCA or the Tippecanoe County Humane Society. Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
