Martha Anne “Martiee” Van Natta, 75, of Brownsburg, IN, died February 14, 2025 in Zionsville Meadows. She was born June 24, 1949 in Frankfort, IN to Robert H. & Norma (Scott) Bruce. She was previously married to Michael L. (Tami) Snyder. She then married Jerry Van Natta on November 19, 1979 in Frankfort and were married for 46 years.
Martiee was a 1967 graduate of Frankfort High School. She attended Ball State University and then attended flight attendant school in Kansas City. She retired from Federal Mogul, working there for over 20 years. After retirement, she ran the video department at Marsh Supermarket. She moved to Brownsburg in 1995. Martiee was a member of Venture Church in Pittsboro, IN and was formerly a member of Living Word Fellowship in Frankfort. She loved swimming, camping, fishing, traveling in her motor home and enjoyed music by George Strait, Vince Gill and Billy Joel.
Martiee is survived by her husband, Jerry, daughters, Cheyanne (Alan) Price of Noblesville, Nyree Snyder of Killeen, TX, sons, Doug Backer of Smethport, PA, Joshua (Amber) Van Natta of Phoenix, AZ, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Bruce.
All friends and family are welcome to Martiee’s Celebration of Life which will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Clinton Masonic Lodge, 201 S. Main St., Frankfort. Family and friends will gather from 10-11 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral Home.
