Martha Helen Dooner, 94, of Rossville, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville. She was born March 16, 1925, in New York City, to Robert Maurice and Martha (Bouda) Collins. On September 18, 1954, she married James Peter Dooner in New York City; he preceded her in death in 1983.
After graduating from George Washington High School in New York City, Martha modeled and then worked in advertising for 18 years. Martha will be remembered for her good soul and always having a smile for everyone. She enjoyed reading.
Surviving Martha are her grandchildren, Rachael and Roger Seabourne; and her nieces and nephews, Kathi (Richard) Graves, Barbara (Gerry) Dail, Patricia Perkey, Walter Collins Jr., Cathleen Collins, and Michael Collins. In addition to her husband, Martha is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Lynn Seabourne; and brothers, Walter and Robert Collins.
