Martha L. Lynch, 91, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born April 5, 1928 in Frankfort to Albert and Leona (Dungan) Watchbaugh. Martha worked for the Frankfort City Utility Office and Frankfort City Power and Light, and was the owner of Lynch’s Coffee Shop. She was a member of the Eagles, the Elks, the Moose and the American Legion. She loved to play bingo, euchre and skip-bo.
Martha is survived by her children, Larry Smith of Peru and Carolyn (John) DeBusk of Kokomo; step-children, Christi Cooper of Frankfort, Greg Lynch of Frankfort, Mike Lynch of Peru, Brad Lynch of Frankfort; brother, Albert “Gene” Watchbaugh of Frankfort; sisters, Jane (Bob) Osterholt of Angola; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Lynch; a brother, Ernest Pritchard; a sister, Mary Lou Reed; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1pm, Saturday, January 11, 2019 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastor Larry Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery.
