Martin B Wills, 70, passed away February 1, 2024 at 7:05 p.m. at Clinton House, Frankfort, Ind., following a long illness, with his family by his side. He was born September 15, 1953 in Lebanon, Ind., the son of James R. Wills and Barbara (Stowers) Wills Hubeli. He was one of six brothers. Jay, James and Forest Wills are all deceased. He leaves two sons, Sam and Tom Wills of Texas, his mother, Barbara Hubeli of Frankfort and two brothers, Richard (Janis) Wills and Roger Wills both of Frankfort as well as many nieces and nephews.
Martin proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 29, 1971 – June 20, 1975. He worked in Texas and Louisiana for Shry Construction and Gritex Electric before retiring. He loved outdoor activities including camping, and fishing and loved to be with his brothers to reminisce and laugh. He loved all of them and was glad he wasn’t alone. He would call his mother to remind her he loved her, asking if she knew the song “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, well that is how much I love you, Mom.
Martin would look forward to his private Birthday and Christmas Parties his brothers and family had for him. Unable to walk, he looked forward to many car rides his brothers took him on. Roger’s son, Adam bought joy to his life, he was attentive and offered to help Martin anytime. “God will take care of you – Till we meet again”
Per Martin’s wishes, no services are planned. Clinton County Crematory and Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort are assisting the family. Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, where you may leave a condolence.
