Marty Ray Smith, 60 of Kirklin passed away March 6, 2021 at his home. He was born November 13, 1960 in Springfield, Illinois to Ralph E. Smith and Elizabeth M. (Plummer) Smith. He married Tina Diane Wagner on March 5, 1993.
Marty attended North Fort Myers High School in Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked construction. He worked and raised his family in Florida, moving to Kirklin in 2017. He enjoyed woodworking and being with his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren.

Myers, FL, Brandon Ray Smith (Liz Jones) of Kirklin, 10 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wilson, Brett Wilson, Kierra Soderholm, Savannah Wilson, Kyla Williams, Raylee Washburn, MaKinley Williams, Lane Fischer, Casen Washburn, Gracie Wilson and 2 great grandchildren, Payton Schlottman and Paisley Schlottman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Smith.
