Mary L. Cunningham, 77, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Frankfort on October 30, 1943 to William Denton and Irene (Fish) Ferguson. She married Gordon K. Cunningham on November 11, 1961; he survives.
Mary attended Frankfort High School and was employed at Federal Mogul for 15 years. She was a member of Community Christian Church and a former member of the Eagles. She enjoyed reading and flower gardening.
Surviving with her husband are her children; Julie Stinson (husband, Larry) of Frankfort and Jodie Cheek (husband, Tim) of Lebanon; her brother, Joe Ferguson (wife, Rita); her sister, Wilma Sellers; her grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jeremy, Jared, and Jamie; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ferguson and Carolyn Ferguson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Roy Ferguson and Robert Ferguson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Grasham officiating. The funeral service will be live-streamed and available for viewing at wwww.gendafuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.
