Mary Evelyn Henry, 96, of Frankfort, passed away January 4, 2026 at the home of her daughter. She was born May 24, 1929 in Greenup, KY to William Harrison & Margaret (Gearheart) Gearheart. She married Lawrence J. Henry on June 2, 1950 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2011.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lora L. Henry of Sheridan, 5 grandchildren including, grandsons, Micah (Frances) Henry of Sheridan and Malachi (Jill) Henry of Bloomington, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by daughters Anna Marie Henry Wallace, Kathleen Victoria Henry and son, Andrew Henry.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2025 with a Lion’s Club Service at 7:45 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10th at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Lions for Lead Dog, 1039 S.
