Mary N. Blastick, 88, of Frankfort, died April 18 2019 at I.U. Health Frankfort, Ind. She was born March 1, 1931 in Harrisburg IL to Andrew & Geneva (Harrison) Gulley. She married Leonard Blastick on October 15, 1947 in Crown Point, Ind. and he preceded in death on September 18, 2014.
Mrs. Blastick was a graduate of Whiting High School and lived in Whiting for 75 years, prior to moving to Frankfort. She was a nursing assistant, working at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, IN for 16 years, retiring in 1985. Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 Sons: Timothy Blastick of Frankfort and Greg (Chris) Blastick of Mulberry, 3 Daughters: Cheryl Edwards of Frankfort, Frances (Dave) Mario of Gary, Melissa (Erick) King of Hessville, Brother: Tom Gulley, 3 Sisters: Sara Mahon, Ruth Marino and Carol Kirk, 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Clifford & Dan Blastick and a brother, Ken Gulley.
