Max L. Myers, 75, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. He was born in Frankfort on September 1, 1944. He was a 1962 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy where he was a 2nd Class Machinist. He married Karen McCarty December 28, 1963. She survives.
Max worked several jobs over the years which included over 20 years for LDI Mechanical in Logansport as an HVAC installer, taught HVAC at Ivy Tech, and most recently Assistant Manager at Dewey’s in Rossville. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working, traveling, watching NASCAR, playing on his iPad and social media. He was a man that knew no strangers and enjoyed talking with anyone he could.
Along with his wife, Max is survived by his daughter, Kathy Meade of Frankfort; grandchildren, Meagan Simpson of Fort Wayne, Mathew Black of Indianapolis, Madysan Meade of Frankfort; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kevin L. Myers.
