Max M. Moore, 83, of Frankfort, died May 26, 2020 at his home. He was born July 30, 1936 in Frankfort to the late Maurice F. & Mary M. (Snyder) Moore. He married Marilyn L. Petre on May 7, 1961 at the Jefferson United Methodist Church and she survives.
Max was a 1954 graduate of Little Jeff High School. He was in the Army National Guard, serving from 1959-1965. He retired in 1990 after 36 years from Chrysler Corporation Kokomo Transmission. He was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Vesta Masonic Lodge #136 Lodge in Jefferson, Indiana State Beekeepers and Clinton County Antique Machinery Club. 
Max enjoyed beekeeping, gardening, woodworking, apple cider making and farming.
Max is survived by his wife: Marilyn Moore of Frankfort, daughter: Denise M. (Doug) Fox of Lafayette, son: Dennis M. (Monica) Moore of Commerce Township, MI, sister: Nancy (Tom) Werner of Lafayette, brother: Richard (Grayce) Moore of Frankfort, 5 grandchildren: Kayla (Pete Timmons) Moore, Morgan (Aaron) Weidemann, Raechel Moore, Maci Fox and Kyle Moore, 3 great grandchildren: Logan Timmons, Mason Timmons and Titus Weidemann. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas S. Moore in 2008.
Funeral Celebration
Public Visitation will be 12 Noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Following the guidelines established by the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be allowing up to 40 people in the funeral home at a time. When you arrive at the funeral home parking lot, staff members will provide directions. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
