Sisters Mackenzie McWhirt and Erica McWhirt were dominant in the Goat Show portion of the Clinton County 4-H Fair on Tuesday at the Show Arena.

“I actually had Grand and Reserve Grand Percentage Doe,” said Mackenzie. “I won Senior Showmanship, went into Master Showmanship, showed against my sister, won Master Showmanship and now I’m going into Supreme and will show Thursday for Supreme.”

Erica also had a good day.

“I won Grand Commercial Doe with a yearling and then I won Grand Full Blood with a yearling,” she said. “It was a very good day. We both work together and got all the work done in the early morning. Then showed Showmanship, sister beat me. I felt good because if it’s a win for our family, it’s a win for us.”

Mackenzie is a nine-year 4-H member and will be a senior at Clinton Central this fall. Erica is a seven-year 4-H member and will be a sophomore this fall at Clinton Central.
