Mejia Receives of Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship

Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly has announced that Alexa Cruz Mejia is the recipient of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship.

Mejia was selected alongside 39 others throughout the state to be awarded a $750 scholarship to be put towards her next academic year. The scholarship goes to a member of the ISA, or a child or grandchild of a member of the ISA, who is pursuing a career in law enforcement.

She is a 2020 graduate of Frankfort High School and will be attending Ivy Tech Community College in the fall, majoring in Criminal Justice.
