Memorial Park All-Inclusive Playground Gate Experiences Damage; Repairs & Investigation Underway

The Lebanon Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the gate at the all-inclusive playground at Memorial Park has been damaged and torn from the fenced-in area, prompting a need for repairs and an investigation.

“We take the safety and accessibility of our parks seriously and have already ordered the necessary parts for repair,” the department released. “However, due to supply timelines, it may take some time before the gate is fully restored.”

The department stated that security cameras do surround the area, and footage is being reviewed to address the issue. No further information regarding the investigation has been released at this time.

“In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone,” the department released.
