Merle R. Campbell, 92, of Mulberry, Ind., passed away December 13, 2025 at Mulberry Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mulberry. He was born on November 6, 1933 in Monon, Indiana to Albert R. and Bernice C. (Landes) Campbell.
Merle attended school in Monon and earned his GED. He worked with the public for 55 years as Sales Representative and Manager of Folletts Bookstore and Furrows Building Materials. He enjoyed good music, flowers, travel and his beloved cat Sweetie.
Surviving is his sister: Virginia Keller of Mulberry. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother: Albert R. Campbell Jr. and sisters: Bertha Rood and Barbara White.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Cemetery in Monon, Indiana.
