Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel Bringing Blues and Soul to Prairie Creek Park

Music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of live blues, soul and R&B when Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel take the stage at Prairie Creek Park on Thursday, September 10, as part of the Downtown Tune Night series.

The performance is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and will bring the Kokomo-based group to Frankfort for an evening of high-energy music and classic sounds.

Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel are known for their blend of blues, soul, R&B, funk and blues-rock. Led by guitarist and vocalist Mike Milligan, the band combines soulful vocals, gritty guitar work and a strong rhythm section to create an energetic live performance.

The group has built a reputation throughout the region for its powerful performances and has shared the stage with nationally recognized artists including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa, Tower of Power and Aretha Franklin.

The Downtown Tune Night performance at Prairie Creek Park offers residents and visitors an opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors in a local park setting.
