Mildred “Louise” Hemmerling, 88, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born on September 3, 1929 in Clinton County to Andrew Addison & Elsie Mable (Altic) Crum. She married John P. “Big John” Hemmerling in 1971 in Clinton County and he preceded her in death on January 3, 1993.
She was a 1948 Graduate of Little Jeff High School in Jefferson. She worked for PR Mallory for 26 years as a machine operator. She was a farm girl and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, music, playing cards, and family acitivites.
She is survived by her Step-Sons: Andy Hemmerling of Florida & John Hemmerling of Georgia along with several Nieces and Nephews and over 100 Great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; 7 Brothers: Ralph Altic, Jack Crum, Fred & Orpha Crum, Pete & Berniece Crum, Gilbert Crum, Milton & Ruth Crum, and James & Florence Crum; and 3 Sisters: Grace & Reldo Freeman, Betty & Bob Scott, and Joan & Glen Albitz.
Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
