The City of Frankfort has announced that the monthly tornado siren testing will take place on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 a.m.
This routine test is conducted to ensure the siren system is functioning properly in the event of severe weather. Officials remind residents that no action is required during the test, but it is a good opportunity to review personal and family emergency plans.
In the event of actual severe weather, sirens will sound as an alert to seek shelter immediately.
