Nancy Elizabeth Frye, 87, of Mt. Vernon and formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She was born on January 28, 1930 in Frankfort to Glenn R. and Goebel (Vice) Fickle. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School. She married Benson F. Frye on November 24, 1954 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2007. Nancy had worked for Mallory Controls and Hallmark Gift Shop in Frankfort.
Survivors include her Sons: David (Lisa) Frye of Mt. Vernon & Michael Frye of Portland, OR; and Granddaughter: Elizabeth (Jake) Frye Blegen of Katy, TX.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s honor to the MSD of Mt.
