Nancy Lee Fullerton, 90, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at her home.
She was born October 4, 1927, in Bay City, Mich., to William E. and Eunice Dorner Noyes. On September 5, 1952, she married William Hand Fullerton; he preceded her in death on July 21, 2000.
Nancy graduated from Barrington High School before receiving her bachelor’s degree in science at Purdue University in 1950 where she was a member of the Delta Gamma National Sorority. She has previously lived in Lebanon, Mattoon, Ill., and Crawfordsville, before they moved to Frankfort in 1956. Nancy was a homemaker, member of the St. Matthew United Methodist Church, After Math, Fiber Art Clubs in Lafayette and Indianapolis, Tri Kappa, Indiana Bead Society, Master Gardener, and Friends of the Frankfort Library. She volunteered many hours at Dorner Park and at the Open Door Clinic as well as at the hospital as a Pink Lady.
Surviving Nancy are her sons, Charles “Bush” (Susan) Fullerton, of Huron, SD, and Brad C. (Mary) Fullerton, of Frankfort; sister, Jean Noyes, of Salt Lake City, UT; three grandchildren, Todd (Bridget) Fullerton, Joe (Arlen) Fullerton, and Matthew (Melissa) Fullerton; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dr. Jack (Ginny) Noyes; and two great-granddaughters, Haleigh and Callie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Frankfort, from 2:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Phil Lake will officiate. Graveside service will be held at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery in Ottawa, Ill, at 1:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, November 28. Memorials in Nancy’s name may be made to Frankfort Public Library, St. Matthew United Methodist Church, or Cornerstone Assembly of God.
