NASA Solar System Ambassador Coming to Discuss Solar Eclipse at Library

The Frankfort Community Public Library is excited to host NASA Solar System Ambassador B.J. Austin. Austin is the president of an aerospace propulsion research and development and engineering services firm focused on furthering space exploration and space commercialization through advanced propulsion system designs. His presentation about the upcoming total solar eclipse will be held in Skanta Theatre on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free solar eclipse glasses along with safety information.

The NASA Solar System Ambassador program strives to bring NASA missions and science to the public with the use of motivated, knowledgeable volunteers working in their own communities. The program currently has over 1,000 ambassadors bringing the excitement of space to all 50 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam.
