The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is asking for the public’s help in locating missing 16-year-old Ella Saylor, who has been missing for more than a year.

Ella was 15 when she went missing from her home in Muncie, Indiana, on Feb. 3, 2024. Her mother, Elizabeth Saylor, said the night Ella vanished, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They had family visiting from out of town, and they all spent the evening together. Ella was last seen around 11 p.m. before everyone went to bed, but when Elizabeth went to check on Ella the next morning, she was gone.

Elizabeth shared that there has been no communication from Ella since her disappearance, and the family is deeply concerned for her safety. Elizabeth hopes that this message will reach Ella:

“Ella, we love and miss you so much. We just want to know that you are safe. Your entire family hopes that you will come home soon.”

Ella is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. Authorities believe that Ella may stay in the local area or may have traveled to the Indianapolis, Indiana, or Chicago, Illinois, areas.

If you have any information about Ella or her disappearance, please contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Muncie Police Department (Indiana) at 1-765-747-4838.
