Neal Lewis Chumley, 33, of Frankfort, formerly of Mulberry passed away, Friday, May 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1985 in Lafayette to Gary and Paula (Allison) Chumley. He was a graduate of Clinton Prairie High School in 2004. He then went on to work for the Frankfort Street Department before working as a roll off driver for Winski Brothers.
Neal was a simple man and an old soul that was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He never met a stranger and his friends had given him the title “Hillbilly Mayor of Frankfort.” He was a Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, collected guns and knives, and was known for his ability to “wheel and deal.” His enjoyed cheering on the Tennessee University Volunteers Football Team each Saturday in the fall and spending time with his closest friends at local watering holes, grilling out, and having bonfires. But his true love was spending time with his kids.
Along with his parents, Neal is survived by his children, Bo and Felysiti Chumley; his siblings, Jack and Lee Chumley, both of Mulberry, and Molly (Josh) Dowell of Lafayette; and the mother of his children and dearest companion, Dawn Wyrick of Frankfort.
