Nellie Mae Robertson, 86, of Mulberry, passed away December 25, 2025 at her home. She was born November 17, 1939 in New Richmond, Ind. to Carl Reamer & Iva (Brown) Reamer Heide. She married Charles Daniel Robertson on October 9, 1954 in Jeffersonville, IN and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2011.
Nellie attended Coal Creek High School in Montgomery County. She grew up in Montgomery County and had lived in Clinton County since 1961. She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church and recently attended Colfax United Methodist Church. Nellie worked part time as a cook for Clarks Hill Fish & Steak House for 14 years, and National Seal in Frankfort for 24 years, retiring in 2001.
Nellie is survived by her children, Anna (Jack Plimpton) Oliver of Thorntown, Charlene (Greg) Smith of Frankfort, Dixie (Butch) Rees of Clarks Hill, Teresa (Bill) Young of Colfax, Dan (Jeanna) Robertson of Colfax and Ben (Donna) Robertson of Colfax, siblings, Marian (Michael) Heide-Branch of Wingate, Ethel (Mark) Geldmeier of Riesel, TX, Earl (Jan) Heide of Linden, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Bob Heide, brothers, Carl Reamer, Harry Reamer, Frank Heide and Jim Heide, sister, Ruth Goodin, daughter, Carla Wollenhaupt, grandson, Matthew Wollenhaupt and granddaughters, Madison Wollenhaupt and Amanda Robertson Leis.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, January 8, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home.
