New Swimming Pool Coming To TPA Park

“When will the park get its pool back?”  “Is there going to be a swimming pool at the park?”

Bart Kraning, Frankfort Parks Superintendent, hears these kinds of questions from the public almost every day.  Now Bart can say “TPA park will be getting a new swimming pool”.

The Frankfort City Council agreed unanimously in work session this week to proceed with plans for a new pool at TPA park. HWC Engineering, a full service consulting engineering firm, has already been contacted with the news and bids will be sought as soon as possible. There are too many variables at this time to predict a completion time.

Plans for the new multi-million dollar TPA park pool include a “beach entry” or “zero entry” area, concession stand, family spots reserved with a clear view of children playing  in the pool close by and other attractive amenities.

Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets will be on the daily WILO talk show “Partyline” tomorrow (Wednesday March 10) to briefly explain the project during the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce “Leading with Hope and Vision” portion of the program.  Mayor Sheets is also expected Friday Morning at 9:00 AM during the program for a more in-depth interview.  News Director Ken Hartman and Kaspar Media Director of Operations Kevin Keith will conduct the interview for both Mayoral appearances.

Mayor Sheets can be heard Wednesday morning and regularly on WILO 96.9 FM, WILO 1570, Streamed LIVE at Clinton County Daily News and also heard live at www.hoosierlandtv.com.
