The City of Frankfort has announced that a new three-way stop has been implemented at the intersection of Hoke Avenue and Maiden Lane to aid with the control of traffic as the Meadowbrook subdivision comes to fruition.
The City stated that temporary stop signs have been implemented at the intersection, and permanent stop signs will be placed at the intersection over the next few weeks.
The implementation of a three-way stop at the intersection was sparked by the need to better control traffic at the entrance of the Meadowbrook subdivision.
Drivers have been instructed to exercise increased caution at the intersection due to the new three-way stop while other drivers become familiar with its implementation.
