The Frankfort Community Public Library announces the next Adulting 101, Women in Tech Careers. Learn about what inspires people to join the tech workforce, from .Net Developer, Abby Burkhalter. Discover what kind education is required and how women are an integral part of the field.
Adulting 101: Women in Tech Careers will be held at the Edge, the Library’s Teen Department, on Thursday, March 7 from 5-7 p.m. The program will include tech related crafts, a chance to build your own video game program, and an interview with Abby Burkhalter.
Abby Burkhalter is .Net Developer, her website states, “I am regarded as a front end web developer, focused on delivering responsive, accessible, and friendly user experiences”. Abby graduated from Clinton Prairie High School and Indiana University Kokomo, where she interned and worked as a Web Technician. She has worked with several institutions in various technological capacities, including as a Web Developer for IUPUI.
