Nickel & Rye Pub and Eatery Officially Opens Today on Frankfort Square with Live Radio Broadcast, Free Giveaways, and Community Celebration

Today is the day Frankfort has been waiting for as Nickel & Rye Pub and Eatery officially opens its doors on the downtown square in the former Johnny V’s location.

The highly anticipated grand opening is expected to bring excitement, crowds, and plenty of community spirit as residents gather to welcome the newest restaurant and entertainment destination to downtown Frankfort.

The celebration ramps up this afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. when Cindy Loveless broadcasts LIVE from Nickel & Rye during a special remote on WILO 96.9 FM/1570 AM and Boone 102.7 FM. Visitors attending the grand opening will have opportunities to win FREE giveaways throughout the live broadcast while enjoying the energy and atmosphere of opening day.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, tour the newly renovated building, meet owner Brady Martin and staff, and experience everything Nickel & Rye has to offer. The historic downtown building has been transformed with fresh paint, updated floors, local murals, and a welcoming pub-style atmosphere that blends Frankfort history with modern dining and entertainment.

Nickel & Rye opens with a large menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, steak options, and the restaurant’s signature hand-battered catfish dinner. Upstairs gaming areas with pool tables and dartboards add to the entertainment and make the venue a unique addition to the downtown scene.

Owner Brady Martin, a Clinton County native, said the goal has always been to create a place where the community can come together, enjoy great food, and make lasting memories.

Everyone is invited to attend today’s grand opening celebration at Nickel & Rye Pub and Eatery and be part of an exciting new chapter for downtown Frankfort.
