No injuries were reported Friday afternoon when a gas leak shut down State Road 28 West for approximately 90 minutes.
Around 4 p.m., Frankfort Fire was notified of the problem near CF Industries in the 6000 block of State Road 28 West. The accident occurred when a construction crew working in the area clipped a 6-inch gas main.
Fire Chief John Kirby said Vectren did a great job of getting the leak fixed and getting the road back open. Kirby added they were there for approximately an hour and 30 minutes.
