With New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1 being a City holiday, there will be no trash collection. Street Department crews will do a double pick up Tuesday, January 2 for residents in the southwest and northwest sections of the City.Since January 2 is a double collection day, trash routes will change with trash picked up earlier than what it might normally be for some households. To ensure everyone’s trash is collected, residents should have it set out by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
