Since it is a City holiday, there will be no trash collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, for residents in the southeast quadrant of the city. While Friday, November 29 also is a City holiday, Street Department crews will do a double pick up that day for residents on the Thursday route and for those on the Friday route in the northeast section of town.
Since November 29 is a double collection day, trash routes will change with trash picked up earlier than what it might normally be for some households. To ensure everyone’s trash is collected, residents should have it set out by 7 a.m. Friday.
