Norma G. Wright (95) of Frankfort, IN. went to be with the Lord on Sunday Oct. 25, 2020 at home with her loved ones by her side.
She was born and raised in Merlin Ontario, Canada to Larnie and Millie (Sales) Sheets on June 3, 1925. The family moved to Frankfort, Indiana when she was 16 years old, graduating from Frankfort high school in 1944.
On May 10, 1947, she married “the love of her life,” Charles E. Wright, Jr. from Princeton, Indiana. They were blessed with four sons: Col. (Retired) James (Monacettia) Wright of Frankfort, Philip (Pam) Wright of Frankfort, Brian (Connie) Wright of Frankfort, and Keith (Lisa) Wright of Springfield, Mo, 12 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her sister-in-law Joycene Sheets (wife of Bill) of Terre Haute, IN, brothers-in-law Ted (Pauline) Wright, and Bob Smith both of Princeton, IN.
Preceding her into Glory were her husband, (whom she looks forward to being with again); and brothers: Glen (Irene) Sheets of Indianapolis, IN George Sheets of Indianapolis, IN, Bill Sheets of Terre Haute, IN, and sister Jean (Paul) Davis of Thorntown, IN.
While raising her family, Norma worked at the Frankfort Cigar Factory, Peter Paul (10 years), and Clarks department store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir, attending her husband’s 70 & 2 Sunday school class, and fellowshipping with other members. Her passion was knitting afghans, sewing, eating chocolate and cooking large meals for her family.
Norma loved and cherished her family! We all love you and will miss you, Norma/Mom/Grandma.
