The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand re-opening and kickoff for summer reading at the Northwest Carroll Library.
The Northwest Carroll Library announced that it will close its doors from Feb. 15 through April 1 as it prepared for renovations of the building to better accommodate the community and provide resources beyond its previous iteration. On April 15, the library announced that it had reopened to the public, and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has organized a ribbon cutting celebration for the grant opening for the community to learn more about the improvements that were made and get a jumpstart into summer reading.
The grand re-opening is scheduled for today, Tuesday, May 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Northwest Carroll Library at 164 W. Forest St. in Yeoman. The library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The community will be welcomed into the library to hear more about the Yeoman Summer Reading Program, which will span from May 21 through July 31 with the kickoff lasting from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on May 21.
The Delphi Summer Reading Program kicked off at the Delphi Public Library on May 20.
