The Town of Mulberry is gathering information from homeowners whose properties were damaged by the heavy rainfall and flooding on August 19, 2026.
If your home was affected, please report the following:
• Your name, property address and phone number
• Areas of the home that were affected
• Approximate water depth
• A brief description of the damage
• Photos or videos, if available
• Whether the property is your primary residence
• Whether you have filed or plan to file an insurance claim
• An estimated repair or replacement cost, if known
Please DO NOT wait to submit your report if you do not have repair estimates yet. Simply indicate that an estimate is not yet available. You may provide additional information or updated costs later.
The Town is documenting damage to town infrastructure, as well as the overall impact of the flooding on our community. Information provided by homeowners will help establish the extent of the damage and allow the Town to submit more complete information to Clinton County Emergency Management and the appropriate state agencies.
If an individual assistance program becomes available, homeowners will still be responsible for completing and submitting their own applications. Reporting your damage to the Town now may help support the community’s eligibility and make the documentation process easier, but it is not a substitute for an individual application.
Please submit your initial damage report by noon on Monday, August 24, 2026, by emailing lfoster.townofmulberry@gmail.com.
Reports received after the deadline will still be accepted, but residents are strongly encouraged to respond as soon as possible because disaster assessments are time-sensitive. Homeowners may also update their reports if additional damage is discovered.
Submitting a damage report does not constitute an application for assistance and does not guarantee that financial assistance, reimbursement or other disaster relief will become available. Eligibility for any future program will be determined by the agency administering that program.
Please report your damage even if you are unsure whether it qualifies or whether insurance will cover it.
