The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Clinton, Boone and Carroll counties as well as counties in the surrounding region until 8 p.m. today, March 30.
Community members are encouraged to remain weather aware and stay tuned in to local weather reports and be ready to shelter in a basement or in a windowless room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
Alongside the tornado watch, community members should be aware of high winds and possible severe thunderstorms during the watch timeframe.
