NWS Issues Wind Advisory For Clinton, Carroll & Surrounding Counties For Tomorrow, Nov. 5

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued an urgent weather message for high winds tomorrow in Carroll and Clinton counties alongside surrounding counties in the region.

The wind advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 5 with south winds reaching 20 to 30 miles-per-hour with with expected wind gusts reaching 45-miles-per-hour.

The advisory has been issued for Clinton, Carroll, Howard, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren counties.

The expected impact is that gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, and tree limbs may be blown down with a few power outages possibly resulting from the debris.

Strong winds may also cause driving to become difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Drivers are instructed to exercise additional caution tomorrow.
