NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Saturday

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portion of central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected with gusts up to 45 mph.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may results.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Clay, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan and Vigo counties.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
