Odette M. Arroyo, 87, of Frankfort, died December 25, 2020 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. She was born June 4, 1933 in Saint Martin-Aux-Champs to Alphonese & Marthe (Leroux) Gassend. She married Jose Jesse Arroyo on July 13, 1957 in France and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1998.
Odette was a homemaker and previously worked as manager of Colfax American Legion. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 Sons: Jose J. Arroyo of Frankfort, and Jesse P. (Cindy) Arroyo of Colfax, 4 Daughters: Sinedia Warnecke of Frankfort, Celine (Albert) Tyrell of Linden, Christine Arroyo of Lafayette, and Meemee Arroyo of Frankfort, 2 Sisters: Meriette Madeleine Smallwood of York, PA, and Blanche Marie Legey of France, 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, spouse, step-daughter, Trina Jarvis-Potosi, 2 sister Mireille Guliette Erbeaumont and Christiane Alaine Gassend and twin grandbabies.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be in 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 600 St. Mary’s Ave., Frankfort. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
