Odie J. Fairfield Jr., 71, of Michigantown, Ind., died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 Signature Health Care at Parkwood in Lebanon, Ind. He was born August 27, 1947 in Crawfordsville, Ind. to Odie Fairfield Sr and Loretta (Mead) Fairfield. He married Julia Mae Singleton on December 30, 1993 in Crawfordsville and she survives.
Mr. Fairfield was a 1965 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truckdriver and had worked in security at ADM in Frankfort. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting.
Surviving along with his Wife: Julia Fairfield of Michigantown are his Sons: Randy (Mary) Clark and Troy (Wendy) Clark of both of Frankfort; Brother: Larry (Linda) Weaver of Oklahoma; Sister: Diane of Crawfordsville; Brother-in-law: Terry (Angela) Singleton of Enterprise, Alabama; Sister-in-law: Jane (Raymond) Lamb of Michigantown; 7 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; along with Several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Melissa Clark and brother: Gordon Weaver.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
