Community members, organizations, and businesses are invited to participate in the annual Ole Hickory Days Parade, set for Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
This year’s parade theme is “Star Spangled Summer,” and organizers are encouraging participants to show their creativity and community spirit by entering a float, cart, or other parade entry.
Parade participants will have the opportunity to compete for trophies, with awards available for outstanding entries. Those wishing to have their float or cart considered for a trophy must be registered by 1:30 p.m.
Registration will take place on parade day from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Colfax Lions Park.
Organizers invite families, groups, clubs, businesses, and community organizations to join the celebration and help make this year’s Ole Hickory Days Parade a memorable event.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their entries around the “Star Spangled Summer” theme and bring plenty of hometown pride to the parade route.
