Omega S. Garcia, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019. She was born July 7, 1934, in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Innocencio and Eulalia (Guajardo) Silva. She was married to Falcon Garcia; he precedes her in death.
Omega was a housewife who enjoyed cooking, babysitting her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. She attended Frankfort Bible Holiness Church.
Surviving Omega are her children, Gilberto (Blanca) Garcia, Brownsville, TX, Maria (Jesus) Hernandez, Luis (Lidiana) Garcia, Martha (Jose) Chairez, and Elsa Garcia, all of Frankfort, and Alma Chavez of Indianapolis; a sister, Dora Silva De Lopez of Brownsville, TX; 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Frankfort Bible Holiness Church, 1947 W. Barner St. Pastor Marcos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Following the burial, a funeral dinner will be held at the Clinton County 4-H Building, 1701 S.
