One Day Until High School Football – One Question for Every Team

High school football in Indiana returns tomorrow.

Here’s one question for every local team.

Frankfort – Can Andy Dudley turn the Hot Dogs around?

After back-to-back winless seasons, Frankfort turned to Andy Dudley and a veteran coaching staff to help rebuild the program. Fans will get their first look at the Hot Dogs tomorrow on WILO as they take on Clinton Central.

Clinton Prairie – Is this the year Clinton Prairie wins its first Sectional?

The Gophers are still in search of their first Sectional Championship. With another Sectional realignment, the Gophers will avoid Sheridan, who’s knocked them out the last two seasons, but will face tough competition in Carroll and Lafayette Central Catholic.

Clinton Central – Can the Bulldogs replicate, and build on, the hot starts from the last two years?

In each of the past two seasons, the Bulldogs have dominated their way to 2-0 starts against Frankfort and Faith Christian. After week two, Clinton Central is just 2-13 over the last two years.

Carroll – Is the Cougars’ run of dominance over?

After winning three straight Sectional Championships and two Hoosier Heartland Conference Championships, Carroll took a step back last season, going 7-4 and falling to eventual State Runner-Up Pioneer.

Delphi – Can Peebles end the drought for Delphi?

Delphi’s last, and only, Sectional Championship came in 1977. Terry Peebles takes over the Oracles after 11 years and two Sectional titles at Harrison.
