At approximately 3:19 p.m. Thursday, Clinton County Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash in the 2100 block of South County Road 800 West.
Preliminary investigation by Deputy West determined a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling northbound on CR 800 W when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled off of the east side of the roadway, where it struck a tree. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, family has been notified; however, we want to give them a little time before releasing information of the deceased.
