Open Door Health Clinic, Learning Network Founders Receive Recognition At Día De Los Muertos Gala

Two influential members of the community were recognized for their passion and efforts to found medical and educational services with opportunities for the entire community to thrive in Clinton County.

During the Día de los Muertos Gala hosted by the Learning Network of Clinton County Friday night, Stephen and Susan Tharp were recognized for their contributions to Frankfort that have impacted hundreds of local community members of all ages. As the gala was utilized as a fundraiser for the Open Door Health Clinic, Dr. Stephen Tharp was recognized for his efforts to found the clinic, which has served those in need within the Clinton County community for over 30 years.

Susan Tharp was also recognized as the founder of the Learning Network of Clinton County, which continues to provide educational opportunities that change the lives ad career opportunities for members of the community from youth to seniors of every background for over two decades.
