Frankfort Street Department is offering free drop-off at their location at 905 Burlington Avenue during the week of the City’s Operation Spring Clean Up for Frankfort residents and individuals who pay a user fee. The service is not available for businesses.
Residents and those paying a user fee can drop off up to two pickup truckloads of materials per residence, including large bulk items such as couches, mattresses, box springs, appliances, carpet, chairs, up to two car tires, dressers, and TVs from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday – Friday (April 26 – April 30) and on Saturday, May 1 from 8 a.m. – noon.
Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe said, “Residents will be required to show identification at the gate upon arrival at the Street Department. No remodeling or building materials will be accepted including lumber, concrete, drywall, countertops, floor tiles or roofing shingles.”
