The 2022 Optimist Law Camp for students entering sixth, seventh and eighth grades is set for June 26-29 at Anderson University.
This four-day co-ed camp is an exciting look at the profession of law enforcement offering field trips, exciting demonstrations and motivating programs.
Campers meet peers from around the state, participate in recreational activities and leave with a greater outstanding of the police field.
The programs include spectacular demonstrations by Emergency Response Team Members, Bomb Squads, Underwater Search and Rescue Teams, and Police Dogs.
Scholarships are available from the Optimist Club to cover the of $150 per camper. Applicants must be in good standings. Applications are available by calling the Frankfort Optimist Club at 765-659-2919 and must be received by June 17.
