What a Day for the Gopher nation. Clinton Prairie played at Lafayette Jefferson High School in Lafayette two games to capture the championship and earn a trip to Indianapolis GaInbridge Field House to play for State Championship
Clinton Prairie defeated Triton in the first game at noon by the score of 62-47
Top scorers for the Gophers were Jake McGraw 17 points, Nick Curtin 16, Alex Farley 15, and Nick Ewing adding 9 .
Clinton Prairie then defeated Kouts in the 8 pm game by the score of 73-59. Close game throughout until Clinton Prairie explodes in the 4th quarter determined to finish the job.
Complete scoring in game against Kouts were Jake McGraw with 24 points, Alex Farley 19, Nick Curtin 11, Ryan Harshbarger 9, Evan Smock 6, and Nick Ewing adding 4.
(26-2) Clinton Prairie will take on (24-4) Orleans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Saturday at 10 am.
