According to Chief Troy Bacon, “We deployed Narcan to all of officers a few years ago to enhance our ability to save lives. Our first priority is to provide lifesaving medical treatment then transition into a criminal investigation if evidence is discovered by officers.”
Officers arrested 28-year-old Brad L. Ray of Frankfort for preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of Legend Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
“I am grateful for the quick response of officers that ultimately saved a life as well as quickly recognizing evidence of a crime in plain view that lead to a warrant and arrest”, Bacon said.
Ray was transported to the Clinton County Jail where he will await formal charges by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.
He was out on bond for a prior drug related arrest by FPD in December.
