Suncrest Elementary School parents and guardians have been invited to attend a parent meeting set for Thursday, Feb. 6 where information will be provided and questions will be answered about the implementation of the Dual Language Immersion Program open for the 2025-2026 school year at Suncrest.
The program, which is exclusively available for Kindergarten classes, allows for English and Spanish learners to succeed while maintaining their native language while also building strong social connections and cultural awareness with the possibility of easing the development of a second language in the future.
The first parent meeting for the program will be held Thursday, Feb. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Suncrest Elementary School.
